Founded 2014 by Tobias Frere-Jones after leaving Hoefler and Frere-Jones. Over 35 years experience, began designing at age 16. BFA from RISD (1992). Prix Charles Peignot winner, AIGA Medal recipient, Cooper Hewitts 2019 National Design Award. First retail release was Mallory (2015), a British-American geometric-humanist hybrid. Collaborates with Nina Stossinger (joined 2016). Celebrating 10th anniversary in 2025.
